What you will be doing:

• Working with developers, designers, and product managers to grasp product functionalities and technical specifics
• Creating, revising, and organizing various types of documentation, such as user and developer guides, API documentation, and release notes
• Researching and compiling information from different sources to ensure our documentation is accurate and comprehensive
• Regularly updating our documents to mirror any software updates, new features, and fixes
• Engaging with our open-source community to incorporate feedback, answer queries, and refine documentation based on users' needs
• Contributing to creating tutorials and educational content to maximize user experience with CVAT
• Writing technical content for various platforms like our Blog, Medium, and social networks

What we expect from you:

• A track record as a technical writer, supported by a solid portfolio of documentation projects
• Outstanding writing and editing abilities, focusing on detail and clarity
• The skill to comprehend complex technical concepts swiftly and simplify them for documentation
• Knowledge of markup languages like Markdown and reStructuredText
• Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git
• Experience using documentation tools such as Sphinx or Read the Docs
• Proficiency in English
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities, able to thrive in a remote team setting environment

• Experience with computer vision or machine learning technologies
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with software development methodologies like Kanban
