What you will be doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs for CVAT.ai (see CVAT.ai GitHub Repository)
• Work with cross-functional teams to convert requirements into high-quality code
• Enhancing the backend for performance and scalability
• Integrating machine learning and computer vision models
• Applying security practices and complying with standards
• Reviewing code, test, and debug to maintain a quality codebase

What we expect from you

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering or similar
• 3+ years in backend development
• Proficient in Python, Django, or Flask
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
• Good English (at least intermediate)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment

Nice-to-have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Familiarity with frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
